Makes sense! iFrames seems to work! At least thats one way to get around the problem. Thanks! Why didnt I try at least?

Embedding flashcontent with object-tag hardcoded into php-pages and posts or with swf-object-plug-in in posts or pages works fine otherwise. It´s only when I have one flash-movie as a base that loads other

So much to do in too many courses here in Sweden. Now I want to look around and see what is happening around here.
Blogging and keeping it interesting, focused and frequent is hard work I think. Maybe that´s why so many blogs end after first few posts…
If anybody knows how I can allow WP (php)

Embedding flashcontent with object-tag hardcoded into php-pages and posts or with swf-object-plug-in in posts or pages works fine otherwise. It´s only when I have one flash-movie as a base that loads other flashmovies or clips into itself then those does not load, only the base-swf is shown. I guess it´s restricted somewhere when using php, but can not find a clue as to what to do about it even after days of internet-trawling! Makes no difference where I put the flashfiles. I don´t really know php, but I have seen sites doing this so should be possible to change settings or something and allow swf to be loaded by an swf in a php-page.

Still have to learn how to do that, but now I can use iframe for now at least. Tankyou.

  • have you tried installing the exec-php plugin? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/exec-php/

there’s another for js but i can’t remember it off the top of my head.

you have a number of files though that you’re trying to get to be friends with one another.

if you have access to the server and can upload to it, i’d recommend creating your flash ”package”, upload it to wp-content/flash/ and then iframing it into the post or page that you want to display it in.

    does that make sense?

If anybody knows how I can allow WP (php) to allow flashmovies (swf) to load other movies in to a swf on a page or post that would help.

  • Interesting project!
